Peda made from milk is also used as prasad distribution in temples. Traditionally, peda is made from milk and sugar only, but it takes a lot of time to make it. To enhance the taste of milk peda, pistachio is also added to it along with cardamom powder and saffron. In the Indian market, milk peda is considered to be a very tasty and strength-boosting sweet.

This is how delicious pedas are prepared
Halwai Gopal Lal Sharma told that he has been making milk and sugar pedas for about 15 years. He told that he starts the process of making pedas every day at 9 in the morning. It takes about 4 to 5 hours to make pedas. Gopal Lal Sharma told that to make milk pedas, first of all heat ghee in a vessel, add sugar and milk to it and mix continuously, then the sugar starts melting, when the sugar melts, add milk powder slowly to the vessel and keep stirring continuously so that lumps do not form in it, after this add milk powder little by little and keep stirring, now add cardamom powder to it. Now after a minute or two, when all this is mixed, take it off the flame and let it cool. After cooling, rub the mixer with hands till the mixer becomes smooth. Then grease the hands again and make small pedas from them.
